The trails
Spanning roughly 30 miles, the extensive horse trails at Tarrant Ranch make it a haven for equestrians. With year-round availability, you can choose your preferred season for riding and camping, creating unforgettable memories in this pristine setting.
Trail riders will encounter diverse wildlife, including deer, hogs, bobcats, raccoons, possums, skunks, and squirrels. Although nighttime hog hunting is conducted, it is the only hunting allowed, ensuring the natural environment remains preserved.
Please note that Tarrant Ranch does not offer horseback riding services, and our camping facilities are rustic. Access is available only through membership; no day riding passes are sold.
Membership
Membership is the key to accessing the vast wonders of Tarrant Ranch.
- Membership is intended for individual use only.
- The Tarrant Ranch annual membership fee is $500, payable each September. New members joining at different times during the year will have prorated fees.

- Upon purchasing the membership, you will receive a key for the entrance gate and a vehicle tag for access.
- The ranch is accessible to members seven days a week.
- Before accessing the trails or campground, all members are required to sign a liability waiver form, which will be kept on record.
- Members are entitled to ride the trails, and use the camping area at any time. All members should follow the ranch rules and guidelines to ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone.
- Each member can bring one guest for free. Additional guests are welcome at $12 each for a day ride or $20 for riding and camping.
- Guests must be accompanied by the member at all times and adhere to all ranch rules and guidelines. Guests must sign a liability waiver.
